What makeup options do I have?

Full Glam Airbrush Make-up: This service is a Full-Faced Airbrush Makeup Application that includes everything from airbrushed eye makeup to airbrushed face and neck for the ultimate, flawless “wow-factor”. This service includes false lashes which look stunning on and off film.

Basic Airbrush Make-up: This service includes a traditional eye application, in which our beloved MAC products are used on the eyes as well as an Airbrushed face and neck. This is a great option if you’re wanting the best of both worlds. The look of this application is a little more subtle as false lashes are not included, but can always be added!

Traditional Make-up: This service is all “traditional” application, meaning, we use our brushes to apply the makeup to render your flawless look!

Airbrush vs Traditional: What’s the difference?

Airbrush is phenomenal in the fact that it looks fabulous in person as well as on camera. The makeup is sprayed on in a cool mist so that the makeup is now on your face in little pixels, which makes this makeup great for HD. The makeup can be as natural or as full coverage as you want and looks as if you have nothing on. Airbrush makeup application can cover any blemish’s color as well as even out its texture. The airbrush makeup does not transfer to others and lasts for at least 15 hours. The airbrush makeup is highly water-resistant, however, there is a water-proof option for you.

Traditional makeup is infamously known for the full coverage. We use top of the line products (MOTIVES) for our clients. For traditional makeup, the makeup lasts at least 8 hours, is full coverage and can cover any blemish’s color. However, depending on the skin type, the traditional application may transfer when hugging others. This makeup option is highly water-resistant as well.

What type of makeup do bride’s normally get?

Bride’s typically get the Full Glam Airbrush Makeup or the Basic Airbrush and add lashes. The reason is that the airbrush makeup is High-Definition (HD), so photographers love this for their photos. It also allows for flawless coverage as sheer or full-coverage as needed or desired by our clients. Another amazing feature of the Airbrush Makeup is that it has a high water-resistance and does not transfer once it has completely set.

What do most Mother of the Brides/Grooms get for makeup?

Most MOBs get traditional. Traditional makeup is a little more forgiving when it comes to fine lines or large pores. In the event that these skin concerns are minimal, airbrush is definitely an option!

How much gel do we put in the hair to prep it?

Please follow the steps on the recommendations that were sent to you. A good rule of thumb, the more hair (length or thickness) the more you need. It’s really hard to over do it! Don’t be scared, just go for it!!! Be sure to BRUSH AND DRY! When you let it air dry, that’s when it get’s flakey. (No worries, we can fix it if that happens). Also, be sure your hair is COMPLETELY DRY…. wet hair doesn’t style or curl 🙂

**In the event that it’s wet, you may be subject to additional charges.

Will my hair stay up all day?

Of course! Just make sure to follow the step-by-step guide we provide you upon booking, and your hair will stay all day long!

Do I need a trial?

Exquisite Reflections highly recommends our clients have a trial consultation – we want you to be perfect for your big day! Click here to set up a consultation.

If I need to reschedule my trial, how far in advance should I reschedule?

We will need to know as soon as possible! Please contact the Artist to let her know of the changes. If the Artist is not notified at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time, the client will be subject to a “NO SHOW FEE” of an additional $50 charged to the payment information on file. This is also stated on the Trial Application, which the client signs and submits to reserve the Artist.

Does my trial application fee count towards my final Event Day balance?

No. The application fee is a retainer; you are retaining the same Artist for your trial as well as your Event Day. The fee is used to cover costs of the supplies and labor used during the Trial.

Do you save my date?

Dates are not secured unless contract and payment has been received.

How big does my party need to be?

One or 10+, we can accommodate all party sizes! For us to travel to you, there must be at least 4 people receiving services. However, if you have a party with less than 4 people, you may be subject to an increased travel fee. If your party is larger than 8 we may need to add an additional artist to your event, which may include an additional fee (please call the office for parties of 8 or more for details).

Do you come to me/the event?

Absolutely! As long as there are at least 4 people receiving services, we will travel to you. The first 10 miles ( 20 miles roundtrip) are complimentary. Beyond that, it is only $1 per mile. The travel fee is calculated from our Studio located in Tomball, TX. For events with less than 4 people receiving services, you can come to our studio (NW Houston) or be subject to a separate travel fee than stated above.

My wedding is out-of-town. Do I still pay the normal travel fee?

Give our office a call – we can customize travel packages if your event is out-of-town!

Is gratuity (tip) included?

Gratuities are not included and are very appreciated!
